Kavilash (Kavi) Chawla is a dedicated strategy and finance expert with over 20 years of experience in enhancing financial performance and driving growth in various organizations. His extensive background includes advising companies, governments, and foundations in the healthcare sector, where he has played a key role in shaping strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
Kavi was first elected to the Broadlawns Medical Center Board of Trustees in 2015, re-elected in 2018, and will continue to serve through 2026. His commitment to advancing community health and governance is further exemplified by his role as a member of the Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation Board.
In addition to his work with Broadlawns, Kavi is an active member of the Kansas Health Foundation Think Tank, where he collaborates with leaders to innovate and optimize resource investments for improved health outcomes across Kansas.
Kavi holds a Master of Business Administration from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts with a triple major in Economics, History, and Political Science from Drake University.
