Transporter Services
Transporter Services are available Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm, for building-to-building transportation and wheelchair assistance. To request assistance, please call:
Service Animals
All service animals must be under the care and direction of the owner or a family member at all times. Service animals must be trained, non-disruptive to others, housebroken, on a leash or halter and have current vaccination/health records available. Service animals needed during a hospital stay may require a provider’s order. Please contact us at (515) 282-4736 in advance of your appointment to make arrangements regarding the need of a service animal to ensure proper accommodations.
Gift Shop
Supported by our wonderful volunteers, The Gift Shop at Broadlawns Medical Center offers many unique gifts and items for patients, visitors, and staff. Please contact us at (515) 282-3147 to place an in-house delivery.

Broadlawns Cafeteria
Location: Sands Building, Ground Level
The cafeteria is open for visitors, patients, and Broadlawns staff. The cafeteria is open 365 days a year with no variation on holidays or weekends.
The grill is open:
Monday – Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.; 10:45 a.m. – 2:15 a.m.
Saturday – Sunday: 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Meals are served 7 days a week:
Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Broadlawns Coffee Connection
Location: Sands Building, First Floor
Hours: Monday – Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The Coffee Connection is Broadlawns coffee shop through a joint venture with BLK & Bold Coffee. The coffee shop offers a variety of beverages, snacks and pastries.
Vending Machines
Location: Cafeteria, Sands Building, Ground Level
Snacks and beverages in the vending area are available 24 hours a day.

Free wi-fi is available for patients and visitors. To access wifi, go to your wifi networks and select bmcguest. You must accept the terms of use before you can access the internet.
