"I was drawn to nursing because I wanted to work in a field that would allow me to converse with all types of people and learn from each of their own life experiences. I was inspired to work in the Pain Management Center after talking with patients and hearing how they feel that there is such a strong stigma in this area of medicine, that they feared discussing their pain with their doctor. I feel it is important to make sure my patients are comfortable being able to communicate all of their concerns without feeling any judgment. Broadlawns is unique because we are truly able to provide excellent care by offering all avenues—from primary care to specialty clinics—in a small enough organization that encourages provider communications amongst each specialty to provide our patients with the best care."
