Pumping Class

Details

In this class you will learn about when you should start using a breast pump, the types of breast pumps available, what the pump parts are called and how to use them, how to clean your breast pump, breastmilk storage guidelines, techniques to help you pump more milk, and ways to increase your milk supply. If you receive your breast pump prior to this class, you are welcome to bring it with you. Participants are encouraged to take the Breastfeeding Basics class prior to attending the Pumping Class, though it is not required. Babies and children are welcome with the understanding that you may need to step out as needed to maintain a learning environment. Support people are welcome and encouraged to attend. This class can be taken before or after your baby is born.
