Iowa Total Care provides $10,000 in support for Broadlawns patients Press Release September 11, 2020 Des Moines, Iowa (September 11, 2020) – Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation recently received a $10,000 gift from Iowa Total Care to support new mothers, children and families who receive care at Broadlawns Medical Center. Iowa Total Care’s year-long commitment funding will provide: 500 mothers and newborns in Broadlawns Medical Center’s brand new Family Birthing Center with a baby bag full of basic care essentials, critical to the first weeks of life. 1,000 brand new, age appropriate books which will be distributed to each newborn and sibling in Broadlawns’ Family Birthing Center. This effort promotes early childhood literacy and education, a social determinant of health. Gold level sponsorship of Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation’s signature event, Rosé Soirée, which was scheduled for Sept. 10.
