OBGYN Staff Provided Compassion for Patient Switching Hospital at 36 Weeks Pregnant

Most mothers wouldn't envision transitioning to a different hospital weeks before birth. One of our patients did just that.

"As you can imagine, switching hospitals at 36 weeks pregnant came with some apprehension, but the providers and nurses at Broadlawns Medical Center made the transition smooth and easy. We were welcomed with a great deal of support and compassion from everyone we encountered. There was a genuine focus and attention on us as mothers and we never felt the need to explain our family."

OB/GYN Doctors, Amy Bingaman and Larry Lindell, played a big role in the smooth transition. "Dr. Amy and Dr. Lindell have been strong advocates in the LGBTQ community for many years and having them together, along with the other providers and staff at Broadlawns Medical Center, is a huge benefit for our community and for all of the patients at BMC."
