Why I Chose Broadlawns for My Residency

I was looking for a program that offered intensive training with a broad array of pathologies and some great women’s health exposure – and that’s exactly what Broadlawns offers! We get a significant amount of autonomy as we grow into very well trained physicians. But the best part is that we get to do it all while being supported by the most compassionate and helpful staff, faculty, and co-residents anyone could ask for!

Hobbies

Cooking and baking, hosting events, spending time by any body of water, and taking my dog for walks through historic neighborhoods and on beautiful trails.

Favorite Things To Do in Des Moines

I love checking out all the festivals and events around town (especially the World Food & Music Festival!), plus trying new dishes at the diverse and delicious restaurants in the area!
