Why I chose Broadlawns for my residency?
Broadlawns was my "shoot for the moon" choice for a transitional year program because of the wonderful things I had heard about the mentors, culture, and co-residents. I am beyond excited to learn and practice becoming a physician here alongside my wife, another transitional year resident!
Hobbies
I enjoy games (card- video- board- tabletop- yard- etc-), exploring new cycling trails, convincing myself I should swim more, and hanging out with my beautiful wife, senior pup, and cats.
Favorite thing to do in Des Moines?
I’m already impressed by the friendly people and can’t wait to experience the farmer’s market, explore the trails, and try the local restaurants!
