Why I chose Broadlawns for my residency?
The faculty, staff, and residents are the most welcoming and genuinely happy people that I’ve met. They come ready to teach, but also to support our growing autonomy as training physicians, while nurturing our unique interests in the field of FM. Also, the opportunity to get involved with community outreach in Des Moines was another awesome feature of the program that piqued my interest! Ultimately, I know after three years of training at Broadlawns in full-spectrum family medicine, I will be able to provide the most quality care for my patients!
Hobbies
Mom Life…dog mom, human mom…both are hobbies, no? This life of raising dogs and playing fetch with the kids is what I live for, and I love it!
Favorite thing to do in Des Moines?
My favorite thing to do in Des Moines is eat good food. Whether it’s trying new restaurants and pretending I’m a renowned food critic, or hitting up my favorite spots (hello Wasabi Chi sushi), I really only venture out in Des Moines to feel too full.
