Why I chose Broadlawns for my residency?
I chose BMC because I wanted a program that offered excellent full spectrum of training that was strong in Women’s health, obstetrics and inpatient medicine. BMC fit that bill while also maintaining a culture that produces kind, grounded and happy residents and attending physicians.
Hobbies
I love taking my dog, Albert to the dog park and on long walks and hikes. Snowboarding and skiing are my favorite activities when I visit my home state of Wyoming. I also love baking, especially sourdough bread and cupcakes!
Favorite thing to do in Des Moines?
Trying local restaurants, going to shows (especially drag brunches), and obviously the Farmers Market.
